Scientists scan brains to spot Alzheimer's before symptoms appear

NCT ID NCT05393388

Summary

This study uses special brain scans to look for early signs of Alzheimer's disease in older African American adults who are currently thinking clearly. Researchers want to understand the difference between normal aging and the very early stages of Alzheimer's. Participants get detailed brain imaging and are followed over time as part of a larger study on aging.
