Summary

This study aims to see if stem cells from taste buds can be turned into insulin-producing cells, which could lead to new diabetes treatments. Researchers will take tiny tissue samples from the tongues of 250 healthy adults. The goal is to grow these cells in a lab and test if they can respond to sugar.
