This study tests whether giving targeted drugs before radioactive iodine (RAI) can make thyroid cancer tumors absorb more RAI, potentially improving treatment. It includes 32 children and teens with metastatic differentiated thyroid cancer that has spread to the lungs. Researchers will measure how many patients show increased RAI uptake after targeted therapy.
