NCT ID NCT06876155
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested two methods of giving a TAP block, a type of pain relief for abdominal surgery. One method used ultrasound guidance by an anesthesiologist, the other used laparoscopic landmarks by a surgeon. The goal was to see if they provide similar pain control and how long each takes. 64 adults having laparoscopic colorectal, gallbladder, or stomach surgery took part.
