NCT ID NCT07376850

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a tighter blood sugar target (70-140 mg/dL) works better than the current standard (70-180 mg/dL) for children and teens with Type 1 Diabetes who use automated insulin pumps. About 120 kids from three countries will be randomly assigned to one of the two targets for 12 months. Researchers want to see if the tighter range improves blood sugar control without increasing low blood sugar episodes or stress on families.
