Double-Dose stem cell therapy aims to beat back tough childhood cancer

Summary

This study tests a two-step treatment for children and young adults with high-risk neuroblastoma. After initial chemotherapy, participants receive two rounds of very strong chemo, each followed by an infusion of their own stem cells to help the body recover. The goal is to see if this approach can keep the cancer from coming back longer. The study is currently recruiting 12 participants under age 30.
