Ear stimulation device may boost opioid recovery in PTSD patients

Summary

This study tests a small device that stimulates a nerve in the ear to see if it helps people with both PTSD and opioid use disorder stay on their buprenorphine medication. Twenty participants will use either the active device or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will check if they keep their prescription at 3 and 6 months, and if the device is comfortable and easy to use.
