AI chatbots may change how patients feel before a doctor visit
NCT ID NCT07325617
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will survey 400 adults visiting a urology clinic for the first time. Researchers want to learn if patients who use AI chat tools (like ChatGPT) before their appointment feel more or less anxious, satisfied, and informed compared to those who don't. Participants fill out a short questionnaire during their visit; their answers won't affect their medical care.
