First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether a personalized risk-score algorithm can better determine how long patients should take two blood thinners after getting a heart stent. About 2,788 adults receiving a drug-coated stent will be assigned to either algorithm-guided or standard treatment duration. The goal is to reduce serious complications like death, heart attack, stroke, and bleeding.
