Ancient exercise meets modern tech: can virtual tai chi help veterans heal?
NCT ID NCT05693805
Summary
This study tested whether it's practical to run a future, larger trial comparing two remote programs for veterans. 42 veterans with PTSD and long-term pain were assigned to either a 12-week Tai Chi class or a general wellness class, both delivered over video. The main goal was to see if veterans could and would stick with the online programs and study assessments, to help plan a more definitive future study on whether Tai Chi actually eases symptoms.
