Shock therapy for cough? new trial uses tiny zaps to soothe Post-Surgery lungs

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive treatment called Transcutaneous Acupoint Electrical Stimulation (TAES) to see if it can reduce coughing in people who have had lung cancer surgery. About 84 adults who have had a dry cough for at least two weeks after their operation will receive the treatment. Researchers will track changes in cough severity and quality of life using questionnaires.
