Simple tablet test could revolutionize early dementia detection in Doctor's offices
NCT ID NCT06090578
Summary
This study is testing whether a tablet-based memory test helps primary care doctors identify early signs of dementia more effectively than usual care. It will involve about 180,000 patients across 26 clinics, where some clinics will use the tablet tool and others will continue their normal practice. The goal is to see if this easy-to-use test leads to more people getting the right diagnosis and referrals for help sooner.
