First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a simple tablet-based test can help primary care doctors detect cognitive impairment, including dementia, in older adults during regular visits. The test is designed to be easy to use and automatically scores results. Researchers will compare detection rates in clinics that use the tablet tool versus those that do not, involving up to 180,000 patients aged 65 and older.
