New heart pacing technique could improve function in AF and heart failure patients
NCT ID NCT07560891
First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a newer pacing method called left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) against the standard coronary sinus pacing for people with permanent atrial fibrillation and heart failure who need a special pacemaker. The goal is to see if LBBAP better improves the heart's pumping ability over 12 months. About 44 adults will take part, and the results may lead to more effective heart failure management.
