Gut formula trial aims to ease IBD symptoms
NCT ID NCT07411131
Summary
This pilot study is testing whether a daily synbiotic formula called SGR11 can help improve symptoms and gut health in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Fifty adults with mild to moderate ulcerative colitis will take the formula for 8 weeks while researchers track their symptoms, quality of life, and changes in their gut bacteria. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and provides meaningful relief alongside participants' regular medications.
