New device SWM-831 aims to clear hardened leg arteries

Summary
This study tests a device called SWM-831 in 81 people with moderate to severe hardening of the leg arteries (peripheral arterial disease). The device is used before balloon or stent placement to break up calcium blockages. The main goal is to see if it can successfully open the artery with fewer complications.
