First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new painkiller called Suzetrigine can reduce the need for opioids after common knee surgery while still controlling pain well. About 140 adults having ACL reconstruction will be randomly assigned to receive either Suzetrigine or standard opioid painkillers. For 7 days after surgery, they will report their pain levels, how much opioid they used, and any side effects.
