New drug aims to keep moms Opioid-Free after C-Section

Summary

This study tests if adding suzetrigine to standard pain relief helps more women stay opioid-free for 3 days after a C-section. About 90 women will get either suzetrigine or a placebo, plus usual medicines like acetaminophen. Opioids will still be available if needed. The goal is to reduce opioid use and improve recovery.
