First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether helping families with money and parenting skills can improve behavior in children aged 10-14 who have oppositional defiant disorder or conduct disorder. About 900 children and their caregivers in Uganda will be split into three groups: one gets financial help, one gets family support, and one gets both. The goal is to see if these programs reduce symptoms like defiance and improve daily functioning over three years.
