First seen Jun 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a spring made from surgical stitches to help people with facial nerve palsy close their eyelid. The goal is to protect the cornea and reduce the need for constant eye drops. Ten adults who have not improved after six weeks will receive the spring under local anesthesia. The study measures how much the eyelid closes and checks for safety.
