Summary
This study tested a special collagen mesh (Surgicoll-Mesh) placed in the abdomen during surgery for cancers that have spread to the lining of the belly. The goal was to see if it could prevent serious problems like bowel blockages, infections, or the need for more surgery. 60 adults with peritoneal cancer took part, and the mesh was compared to standard care.
