New sticky drain holder may spare patients the sting of stitches

Summary

This study tests if a new sticky device (K-LOCK) can hold surgical drains in place better than the usual stitches. The goal is to see if it improves patient comfort and reduces problems like pain or the drain falling out early. About 140 adults having surgery will take part.
