New hope for teens: support teams aim to reduce suicide risk in youth facing psychosis
NCT ID NCT05558332
Summary
This study is testing a support program for teens and young adults (ages 12-25) who are at high risk for developing psychosis and have had recent suicidal thoughts. The program involves training nominated family members or friends to provide better support, aiming to reduce feelings of isolation and hopelessness. Researchers want to see if this added support helps lower suicide risk and improves engagement with other treatments.
