New support strategy aims to give hope to teens at risk for psychosis and suicide
NCT ID NCT05558332
Summary
This study is testing a special support program for teens and young adults who are at risk for developing psychosis and are also having suicidal thoughts. The program, called the Youth-Nominated Support Team (YST), works by training and guiding a young person's chosen friends and family members to provide better support. Researchers want to see if this approach helps reduce feelings of isolation and hopelessness, and lowers suicide risk.
