New program aims to ease the heavy load for family caregivers

Summary
This study is testing a coaching and navigation program called enCompass Humana, designed to support family members who are unpaid caregivers for adults with both cancer and diabetes. The goal is to see if the program is practical and acceptable, and if it can help caregivers feel more confident, less burdened, and better supported. The research team will enroll about 162 caregiver-patient pairs to compare the new support program against usual care.
