New pill shrinks lung tumors before surgery in early trial

Summary
This study tests a daily pill called sunvozertinib given before surgery to people with a specific type of lung cancer (EGFR exon 20 insertion). The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors enough to make surgery more successful. 24 adults with stage II to IIIB non-small cell lung cancer will take the pill for a set time, then have their tumors removed and checked for response.
