New pill shrinks lung tumors before surgery in early trial

Summary

This study tests a pill called sunvozertinib given before surgery to people with a certain type of lung cancer (stage II-IIIB non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations). The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors and improve surgical outcomes. About 24 participants will receive the drug and be monitored for response and side effects.
