Summary
This study tested whether a mouth rinse made from sumac, a common spice, can help heal painful canker sores and reduce pain. Thirty-eight healthy adults with new canker sores used the rinse. Researchers measured ulcer size, pain levels, and signs of inflammation in the blood. The goal was to see if sumac offers a natural, effective way to manage these common mouth sores.
