First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study is testing a flexible version of a brief therapy called ASSIP for people who have recently attempted suicide. The therapy is delivered in the person's own environment to help those who might not attend traditional clinic sessions. Researchers will follow 119 participants for a year to see if this approach is practical, cost-effective, and helps reduce suicidal thoughts and repeat attempts.
