Summary
This study is testing a short, specialized talk therapy program designed to prevent suicide attempts in adults aged 65 and older. The program, called ASSIP-OA, is being compared to standard care to see if it reduces new suicide attempts and deaths over two years. It also aims to help participants develop better coping skills and improve their mental health symptoms.
