Summary
This study tests two short counseling programs for teens aged 12-17 who are in the hospital for suicidal thoughts or attempts. One program helps teens understand and work through their feelings, while the other focuses on creating a safety plan with coping strategies and support. Researchers will track which program better prevents repeat hospital visits over 90 days.
