New hope for suicide prevention: testing a crisis intervention

Summary
This study is testing a new short-term therapy called the Suicidal Crisis Intervention (SCI) to see if it can help reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors. It will involve 390 adults who have recently experienced a suicidal crisis or attempt. The therapy focuses on creating a safety plan, involving family support, and building hope to manage the immediate crisis and connect people to ongoing care.
