Scientists scan brains to unlock clues of suicide risk

NCT ID NCT06248268

Summary

This study aims to understand the brain activity and psychological differences between people who have attempted suicide, those who have suicidal thoughts, other psychiatric patients, and healthy individuals. Researchers will compare 180 participants across these four groups using a single session of cognitive tests and assessments. The goal is to identify specific patterns that might help predict who is at highest risk of acting on suicidal thoughts.
