First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study was designed to see if a new type of breathing tube could help prevent dangerously low oxygen levels during anesthesia in people at high risk, such as those with obesity or sleep apnea. It planned to compare the new device with standard tubes in adults having surgery at Stanford Hospital. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
