Summary

This study tested whether the antibiotic ceftolozane-tazobactam can effectively treat serious Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections in people with blood cancers or those who had a stem cell transplant. Participants received the drug through a vein every 8 hours for 10 to 14 days. Researchers tracked survival and infection improvement at 30 and 60 days. The study was stopped early and included a historical control group for comparison.
