NCT ID NCT05708430
First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single injection of a patient's own fat-derived stem cells into the thumb joint is safe and can relieve pain from thumb arthritis (rhizarthrosis). The treatment is for people whose standard treatments have stopped working and who are considering surgery. The goal is to see if this less invasive approach can control the disease and avoid the need for surgery.
