Summary
This study tested a new device called the SINOMED SR stent for treating people with acute ischemic stroke (a type of stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain). The study involved 218 adults who had a stroke within the past 24 hours. The main goal was to see if the stent could safely and effectively restore blood flow to the brain. Researchers also looked at how well patients recovered 90 days after the procedure.
