Scientists map muscle weakness to build better support
NCT ID NCT07465328
Summary
This study aims to understand how stroke and age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) affect leg strength and muscle oxygen use. Researchers will measure the maximum force people can produce at their hip, knee, and ankle joints, while also monitoring oxygen levels in their leg muscles. The information gathered will help scientists design better support devices, like exoskeletons, tailored to the specific needs of these patient groups.
