Could waiting to move help heal a damaged brain?

NCT ID NCT07212738

Summary

This study aims to find the safest and most effective time to begin physical therapy after a major stroke. It will test if waiting until at least the third day after the stroke is better for the brain than starting therapy within the first two days. The goal is to prevent further brain damage from therapy that starts too soon while still helping patients regain their independence.
