Brain training breakthrough? new study tests best way to regain arm use after stroke
NCT ID NCT06057584
Summary
This study aims to find the best training approach to help people regain arm movement and sensation after a stroke. Researchers will compare three different training methods—combining sensation and movement training, movement training alone, and sensation training alone—in 153 people who had a stroke at least six months ago. The goal is to see which approach most improves daily arm function and quality of life, while also using brain imaging to understand how the recovery works.
