NCT ID NCT06057584
First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a training program that combines both touch (somatosensory) and movement (motor) exercises can help people with chronic stroke improve arm function better than either type of training alone. Researchers will enroll 153 participants who have had a stroke at least 6 months ago and have some arm weakness. Participants will receive 15 sessions of one of three training types, and their progress will be measured right after and again 3 months later using brain scans and clinical tests.
