Can your zip code predict your stroke recovery? NIH launches major investigation
NCT ID NCT06615973
Summary
This study aims to understand how social and lifestyle factors—like education, income, and where you live—affect a person's thinking skills and recovery after a stroke. Researchers will conduct a 45-minute phone interview with 450 adults who have had a stroke, asking about their background and testing their memory and attention. The goal is to learn what helps people maintain mental function after a stroke to guide better support in the future.
