Summary
This study aims to find the best way to prevent strokes in people with a common heart rhythm problem (atrial fibrillation) who have already suffered a dangerous brain bleed. Researchers are comparing a one-time heart implant that closes off a small pouch in the heart to long-term use of blood-thinning pills. The goal is to see which method better prevents strokes while also reducing the risk of another serious bleed.
