First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests two rehabilitation methods—mirror therapy (sensory augmentation) and mild brain stimulation (tDCS)—to see if they improve arm and hand movement in stroke survivors. 36 people aged 45-65 who had a stroke more than 6 months ago will be split into three groups, each receiving different combinations of these therapies plus standard physical therapy for 8 weeks. The goal is to find better ways to help stroke patients regain daily living skills.
