Scientists track Body's defense system after stroke

NCT ID NCT04701619

Summary

This study aims to understand how the body's immune and inflammatory systems respond during and after stroke treatment. Researchers will measure specific blood markers in 300 stroke patients receiving standard clot-busting treatments at multiple time points over one year. The goal is to see if these immune responses correlate with how well patients recover their function and thinking abilities after a stroke.
