First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at how people's bodies react to stress in a pretend emergency room. Researchers will have 30 adults (20 who use meth and 10 healthy volunteers) do public speaking and math tasks while measuring stress hormones, heart rate, and blood pressure. The goal is to see if this setup feels like a real ER and to learn more about stress responses.
