Summary
This study tested a program to help African American women aged 40 and older who care for a family member with Alzheimer's or related dementia and also have high blood pressure. The program focused on stress management, healthy eating, and physical activity to improve blood pressure and quality of life. 28 women participated, and the study measured changes in blood pressure, heart rate, and stress levels.
