Scientists probe link between stress, heart, and brain
NCT ID NCT06029348
Summary
This study aims to understand how the body's heart and blood vessels react to a brief, stressful mental task and how those reactions might be connected to the health of the brain's blood vessels. Researchers will measure heart rate, blood pressure, and brain scans in 450 healthy middle-aged adults. The goal is to gather new information about how stress might influence long-term heart and brain health.
