First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how stress hormones (like cortisol) and personality traits (like resilience) influence how people with overweight or obesity feel during short, intense cycling workouts. Thirty-two adults completed a 10-week program of one-minute high-intensity intervals. The goal was to understand what makes exercise feel more or less enjoyable, which could help create personalized workout plans that people stick with.
