NCT ID NCT07507656

First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a stress ball before a type of kidney stone surgery (called retrograde intrarenal surgery) can lower patients' anxiety and fear, and keep their heart rate and blood pressure more stable. About 66 adults will be randomly assigned to either use a stress ball or receive standard care. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to help patients feel calmer before an operation.
