Study tests if UC patients in remission can stop meds
NCT ID NCT06693310
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether people with ulcerative colitis (UC) who are in deep remission (no signs of inflammation) can safely reduce or stop their medication. Researchers will compare two groups: those who continue their current therapy and those who decrease or stop it. The goal is to see if remission can be maintained with less medication. About 200 adults aged 18-75 with UC for at least 3 years will participate.
