New combo therapy aims to shrink stomach tumors before surgery

Summary

This study is testing a combination of radiation, chemotherapy, and two immunotherapy drugs given before surgery for stomach cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink or eliminate the tumor to make surgery more successful. Researchers will compare two different orders of giving these treatments to 40 participants. They will also collect samples to understand why some people respond better than others.
